(BTW, the help packages are really very out-of-date too…) Sorry. So the offline help is currently not working. Sorry folks, I didn’t update the help browser and help packages. And it is apparently going to get worse next year. Keeping things up-to-date with all the changes taking place must be a bit of a nightmare. Please also support a version of Gimp Mac for OS X Sierra and ev. for OS X High Sierra and for OS X El Capitan System Preferences-> Dock -> Prefer tabs when opening documents. I could solve it by disable the automatic tab setup for new windows. I got this issue on GIMP and GNUCash at macOS Sierra for the child windows. I hope this helps! Works on both window modes. When the export window opens, click on your desktop, then click back on the export window and it will become responsive. I'm a little late, but the solution to this problem is simple. Only English has ever been active while installing or running GIMP. I deleted the extra keyboards, restarted, and reinstalled GIMP, but the interface is still partly in Hebrew, partly in Icelandic. However after changing the theme (GIMP->Preferences->Theme) to OSX it seemed to correct itself. iMac Retina, High Sierra (10.13.3) and magic mouse. The System Preferences-> Dock -> Prefer tabs did not help me. I can't use any tools from the bucketfill down. However the eraser, healing, paintbrush, etc. Some tools have an effect on an image: adding text, making a selection and filling it using the bucket tool. Importing PDFs with a transparent background I noted, with dismay, that GIMP 2.1.18p1 removed the Laguage setting from its preferences! This bug does not appear in GIMP 2.10.4, however. I was bitten by this bug when I upgraded from macOS 10.11 to 10.13 (GIMP used the secondary instead of my primary language set in macOS Preferences). Only GIMP switches to the secondary language. Every other program on my Mac uses English. I do have multiple languages enabled in the Language & Region panel, but English (U.S.) is my primary language. And when I launch GIMP using the "open" command in the Terminal, then it’s in English. ![]() Gimp-2.8 installing process crashes - herewith the error message Need Updated Epson Stylus Photo R220 Printer Driver For Mac 12.1
